The MIT Group Foundation has contributed Rs 30 million to the relief fund initiated by the Government of Nepal for battling the coronavirus pandemic. This donation underscores our ongoing commitment to support Nepal in times of need, particularly as the country faces the challenges posed by the coronavirus.
On Sunday, representatives from our foundation ceremoniously presented a bank cheque to the Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister. During the event, our chair, Dr Shesh Ghale, articulated that the funds are earmarked for crucial public health measures such as testing, contact tracing, and comprehensive response strategies to control and mitigate the spread of the virus.
Dr Shesh Ghale also praised the Nepali government and its citizens for their diligent efforts in combating the pandemic.
