On 8 September 2025, young Nepalis made the ultimate sacrifice in the fight against corruption. Their courage has sparked a nationwide movement, led by a new generation determined to create a more just and accountable future.

Thousands of young Nepalis march through the streets during the Gen Z protest in Kathmandu.

The MIT Group Foundation, accredited by ACFID and audited by the Australian Government, has joined hands with the United Nepali Diaspora (UNDO), a registered NGO in Nepal, to provide direct support to the youth and volunteers on the ground.

Through this initiative, funds are being raised to deliver urgent assistance, including:

  • Legal aid for those arrested or charged

  • Medical care for the injured

  • Food, water, and safety support for volunteers

  • Research and advocacy to strengthen the movement

Every contribution is transparently receipted and reported, ensuring donors can see the real impact of their support.

This campaign offers a safe, legal, and transparent way for the global Nepali diaspora and friends of Nepal worldwide to stand in solidarity.

Together, we can honour the sacrifice of Nepal’s youth by turning their movement into lasting change.
